"Just Do It" Isn't a Change Strategy:
3 Mistakes People Make When Trying to Change

"Just do it" is probably one of the most common things people tell themselves or each other when it comes to change.

But "just do it" isn't an effective strategy for change. In fact, many strategies that people use in an attempt to make changes in their lives don't work.

Whether those changes are big or small, the path to change is littered with failure for most everyone at one time or another.

That's because most of us depend on failed strategies that have persisted over time.

Unfortunately, when people fail, they think they are the problem. It is something within them that blocks them from success.

The truth is that very few of us are trained to participate in the change game. The science of change isn't something we learn at home, at school, or on the job.

This webinar will help you take the first step to successful change by revealing the three biggest mistakes that may be holding you back.

You'll learn how and why you go wrong. And what you can do instead.

Why "Get Someone to Do Something" Doesn't Work:
3 Mistakes Caring People Make When Trying to Help Someone Change

How many times have you heard yourself ask, “How do I get them to change?”

This one question plagues caring people all over the world.

When we see family members, friends, coworkers, or clients struggle, our heart goes out to them.

Helping them change is something we take upon ourselves out of love, like when it’s a family member or friend. Or, we do it because it’s part of our professional responsibility or even a mission-driven calling.

For whatever reason we find ourselves trying to help someone change, our attempts often fail.

It’s not because we don’t care enough or don’t do enough to try to “get them to change.”

It’s because the strategies we use simply don’t work.

So, we end up frustrated, annoyed, worried, and even desperate.

The truth is that very few of us are trained with the skills to help people make lasting changes in their lives. Even a lot of helping professionals miss the boat when it comes to helping others succeed with change.

It doesn’t take a lot of see the truth of this: Just look at the number of people who are struggling with things like being overweight or obese, smoking, using drugs or drinking, having relationships filled with conflict, or just not living the kind of lives they want.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

You can be a lot more effective as a caring person who wants to help people make positive, lasting changes in their lives.

The first step is to recognize the three key things that trip us up . . . what we do, why we do it, and why it doesn’t work.

And what you can do instead.
